Ingredients of peas and carrots Edam with meat :

– Ras Asfour meat: 1 kg (steak / boiled and drained)
– Meat broth: a glass
– Peas: cup (frozen)
– Carrots: 2 tablets (large / peeled and chopped)
– Potato: 1 piece (large / peeled and chopped small cubes)
– Tomato juice: 2 cups (fresh)
– Onions: 1 piece (chopped)
– Vegetable oil: 2 tablespoons
– Salt: half a teaspoon
– Black pepper: a quarter teaspoon
– Tomato paste: 1 tablespoon

How to prepare peas and carrots with meat ?

  • Heat the oil in a large, thick saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add the onion and stir for 3 minutes until tender.
  • Add the potatoes and carrots and stir for 5 minutes.
  • Add salt, tomato paste, meat and stir for 2 minutes, then add the meat broth, tomato juice and frozen peas.
  • Let the mixture boil, then reduce the heat and cover the pot and let stand for 30 minutes until the potatoes and carrots are well cooked.
  • Season with black pepper and stir.
  • Serve hot with rice with pepper.
